We have our customers to thank for our newest cake!We created this confection when a customer requested a banana and chocolate cake for her son’s birthday. We loved the mix of chocolate, fresh bananas, and vanilla pastry cream so much, we added it to our line. We chose the name “Lady Banana” from suggestions by our Facebook fans, and customers who stopped by our East Village store to sample the cake. No doubt they were inspired by the marzipan ladybug decoration.
